OUR CURRICULUM

The focus of our curriculum is the technical development of the players. We believe that the success of any formation and tactical system ultimately depends on the technical level of the players and the effectiveness of combinative small group games. Our method can be easily integrated with other styles, and we designed it in such a way that it is easy to learn for interested colleagues.

COACH TRAINING COURSE AT YOUR CLUB!

Our philosophy

In the last 10 years, we have worked with 15,000 players and trained 1,500 coaches at more than 60 clubs in 4 countries. We believe that sharing our experiences provides all readers with useful knowledge. Our priority is for youth players to reach the international level. The first step in the process is for the colleagues who train the players to receive and apply the professional knowledge that underpins all of this. Our mission and motivation is to provide all our readers with useful, practical knowledge, with the help of which they can train the future football generation. Their success becomes our success.

Age groups

We already deal with players from the youngest age group, 5-6 years old, but our system is also suitable for training adult teams. Different age groups require different training. Our method divides them into 4 groups.

In this period, the optimization of the finished player takes place. Compensating for technical deficiencies, strengthening a combinative game spirit, developing decision-making ability, developing 1v1 skills under pressure, integrating tactical elements into situational exercises, finalizing preparation for tactical systems, stabilizing moral standards and mental preparedness

During our trainings, we place a huge emphasis on the joy factor, which is a central element in our training regardless of age group. With the help of this, we hold training sessions with a good atmosphere, during which the players are happy to perform the challenging but achievable exercises.

ENJOYMENT FACTOR

During our training sessions, we maximize the number of players to 12-14 people so that every player can receive the appropriate quality training.

MAXIMIZED NUMBERS

Each player should touch the ball as much as possible. Already during the warm-up, we aim for each child to touch the ball 4-500 times.

QUALITY TOUCH OF THE BALL

We consider positive communication to be important, thereby creating a positive training environment, which is the essence of rapid and successful development. In case of a mistake, the coach must correct the player with good intentions. If this did not happen, the child would have a bad movement and we would only be able to correct it with repeated work.

POSITIVE COMMUNICATION

THE THEMATICS OF TRAININGS

Just like every team, every age group and every individual requires a unique training plan. Unfortunately, not everyone takes the development and description of the training plan seriously. The well-structured training thematic system adapts to the professional and moral goals of the association, takes into account the age, individual skills and abilities of the players, and utilizes the joy factor motivational formula as a central function. A well-structured training plan is the basic professional requirement for the success of a team - and in the long term, the association. Our professional material describes in detail the topics of the suggested training structure according to the age groups, addressing possible sources of problems and the commonly asked questions that we have experienced.

BALL MASTERY

Ball Mastery, or the acquisition of ball feeling, is the very first, essential step of technical training. Players learn to control the ball with the sole, foot, outside and inside of both feet. The training pyramid representing the process of the thematical build-up of how Ball Mastery skill-level acquisition integrated into training. Mastering ball feeling is a fundamental requirement for the success of passing & receiving, 1v1 movements and, later on, tactical systems as well. Ball Mastery skill-level knowledge and player confidence are directly proportional to the speed of development.

1V1 MOVES

A player successfully performs all 1v1 moves requested by the coach during training, but this is not reflected in his matches. Familiar? Many people skip the technical training, others skip the full-pressure game from their training. The process that connects and organizes them is essential in preparing a player for modern football. Our professional material on the structure of mental pressure practice (or "Pressing") presents the structure of a player, starting from technical training to successful performance under full pressure. Our curriculum is closely related to all our professional materials on building individual skills.

SMALL GROUP
PLAYS

Group tasks where the focus is on passing & receiving and finishing are called small group game systems. These drills help to master different types of passes and shots, while helping the player gain time and space by practicing correct ball receptions. In this curriculum, we include our exercises on the different types of ball-catcher and holder, defensive movement and movement into the empty area, pass and shot types. Our professional material pays particular attention to the acquisition of spatial vision and forward thinking, which is one of the most important pillars of the successful operation of various tactical systems.

The practical use of 1v1 tasks under full pressure corresponds to the modeling and preparation of match situations. That is why we consider the correct implementation and the conscious selection of the appropriate field system and its implementation to be of absolute importance. Our professional material presents the reduced (or even expanded) field sizes, multi-gate systems and variations in age group breakdown 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, number of people - disadvantageous and advantageous exercises. In contrast to the Small Group Plays, the main focus of the Small Sided Games - where technically and mentally built players do the practice - is on playing under full pressure.

PRE-SCHOOL

In our opinion, specialized, age-specific training for preschool children is essential so that the additional individual, mental and tactical skills required by age group can be placed on a stable foundation later on. It is a peculiarity of the age group that, in the case of preschool age players, special attention must be paid to maintaining attention. The most successful method for this is the central application of the enjoyment factor in all cases. At this age, the foundations of movement with and without the ball and basic individual skills must be laid. Getting used to 1v1 situations and developing decision-making skills begins, so our professional material is closely linked to our Ball Mastery and Small Sided Games curriculum.

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL

Both globally and in our country, the popularity and quality of women's football is growing exponentially. It has enormous potential, however, appropriate professional training for female age groups is essential. Our curriculum helps youth coaches and first team coaches choose the right professional path, lays down the basic milestones, clarifies misunderstandings and represents a direction in a player's development process. We detail the training topic by age group, paying particular attention to the importance of the enjoyment factor and individual and community motivation. Our professional material is closely related to our professional material: Ball Mastery, 1v1 Moves, Small Sided Games, Small Group Plays and Positive Communication.

COACHING &
COMMUNICATION

It is important to be aware of the role a coach plays in a player's life. Being aware of this, you must behave appropriately (non-verbal communication) and speak. According to our experience, the coach's incorrect or not clear enough explanation prevents the player from performing the correct exercise, which is then much more difficult to modify at the skill level. The basic need of the coach-player relationship is the coach's communication skills. With our behavior, we can have a positive or even negative effect on the player's development, which is why we lay down the basic standards for coaching behavior (child psychology, pedagogy) and communication in our professional material. During the latter, we work on proven pedagogical advice and communication formulas, which are extremely important in the development of the player, regardless of age group. In our professional material, we detail the topic of coaching practice presentation that we support and explain the steps and principles practiced in the communication of the Player-Parent-Coach relationship.

HOMEWORK EXERCISES

Homework after training, which the players have to do until the next session (for example, practicing a designated movement), has a positive psychological effect in addition to its technical advantage. By giving collective and individual homework, we help the players deal with football mentally and practically, whether they are on the pitch or at home. In addition to its psychological appeal, extra work outside of training is a huge advantage in the speed of a player's development. In our professional material, we detail the age-specific homework we recommend and its effects on further training.
