SMALL GROUP PLAYS
EBOOK
The purpose of our professional material is to promote and teach technical training and combinative playing skills. As a result, all related movements with and without the ball, passing & receiving and completions belong to this professional material. We will present these in more detail below.
Why do we recommend it?
Smaller groups play in a smaller area. As a result, the game speeds up, forcing players to make faster decisions, scan, pass strength and accuracy. In the case of smaller groups, if we inspect it onto the individual, he touches the ball more often, he has to react faster, which means that the speed of the player's development also increases. Furthermore, another advantage is that the coach can pay more attention to the role of the players in small groups.
The ability of decision-making can be developed, and even should be developed. Our goal with this is to prepare him to recognize situations and solve them correctly, according to his age group. A need for decision-making (situational awareness) may develop already during 1v1 training, but also later during Small Group Plays or Small Sided Games
Scanning is the ability when the player is able to observe his environment, the movement of his teammates and opponents, the direction of his movement, empty space, etc. during the game. This skill is an essential feature of the modern football player. Our task is to incorporate this into the training of the players so that they scan and observe their surroundings at the skill level, in a habit-forming manner.
Rondos
We consider rondo to be a good supplement or even a basic exercise in training. With the help of these, the coach can effectively train the speed, coordination, and individual skills of the players, especially with regard to passing & receiving and various movements with and without the ball. We distinguish between two types of rondo:
Repetition Rondo: These are the exercises where the focus is on skill development, where the player can practice passing & receiving without external pressure.
Pressure Rondo: The pressure rondo represents a next level compared to the previous group. We should choose this type when the players are technically skilled enough to put pressure (full or controlled) on them. The process of pressure rondo is generally as follows: the task of one group of players is to keep the ball, while a smaller group (sometimes even one player) tries to recover it.
One of the strengths of the Small Group Game Systems is that it can very easily adapt to the philosophy/training goal set by the coach or the association. However, it is important to choose exactly the game system and its function that we use in training, and to harmonize all of this with the various 1v1 movements and Ball Mastery.

Our professional material details Small Group Plays in 60+ pages
We paid special attention to presenting the exercises and movements as clearly as possible, in addition to presenting the thematic structure and the various possibilities for mistakes to our readers.
What are the focal points during a combinative game? What exercises should I use? How can I train players' decision-making skills? How does all this fit into training? Our professional material answers all questions!

We have also prepared ready-made training plans for our ebook, which help colleagues to integrate into practice and acquire all the knowledge they have read so far in our book, or they can even use what we have provided without any modifications.
The training plans below are divided into two categories. We have created a 5-5 training plan, which works on the Repetition Rondo on the one hand, and 5 Pressure Rondo on the other.
We developed these by adding a training goal and assigning the appropriate Ball Mastery tasks to it, showing how the Small Group Play is related to the skill development training part even within one training session.

Our manuals are not physical products. They can be accessed and read in digital form via our website.
